Wayne Rooney believes Manchester United are finding form after a poor start to the season

Wayne Rooney: Manchester United striker scores against Hull City

Norwich v Manchester Utd

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney believes the team are starting to find their form at a crucial point of the campaign.
United travel to Norwich on Saturday looking for a sixth straight win after picking up one league point in three matches at the start of December.
Rooney was on target in the latest success, when United came from two goals down at Hull on Boxing Day to claim a 3-2 victory.

That win means the Old Trafford side are now eight points behind leaders Arsenal going into the second half of the season when United have generally picked up their form in past years.
And after many critics dismissed United's chances of retaining the title earlier in the campaign, Rooney reckons the team are quietly closing in on the leading pack.
Rooney said: "I think we had some poor results at the start of the season but we are starting to show some real quality.
"In the last few weeks we are having a go. We are working hard, we are fighting for each other and we are ready for the challenge.
"Hopefully, we can surprise a few people."
